Elico Suzuki

Aula des Gymnasium

SUZUERI‘s otherworldly visioaudiophile powers (which we were already able to admire last night) are no cochlear coincidence. Almost as pedantically as Toni Kroos practices passes and free kicks, Elico Suzuki (who, in real life, works as a wrapper of small glass prisms and mobiles) sits every night in the auditorium of the GFB high school in Moers, on the left bank of the Lower Rhine, tinkering with her objects and further refining her deep knowledge of which frequencies in the light spectrum trigger in turn which frequencies in the sound spectrum, in order to attain pure illumination, incandescence or even effulgence. FOR IT IS ONLY IN THIS MANNER THAT ALL THINGS IN LIFE AND OUR EARTHLY REALM CAN BE KEPT IN A STATE OF BALANCE (SOMETIMES A LITTLE GAFFER TAPE HELPS TOO). It is a great privilege to be able to have the unique chance to watch her practice in the auditorium today, as she plans to visit her dear mother in Tokyo this evening, to tell her how things are in Moers nowadays. Elico lives in Moers because her mother was once friends with a philosophising organist from the Lower Rhine (who sadly left us on St. Nicolas Day in 2005), who always liked to say: „Today we‘re short-sighted, tomorrow we‘re hind-sighted, after that we‘re blind. Lights out!“
