As one of China's most representative avant-garde musicians, Mamer uniquely blends traditional Kazakh folk music, world music, and modern experimental music. He has formed six bands with distinct styles, including IZ, Kunakar, 51-RAYON, Mekrop, TAT, and Bande. These bands encompass avant-garde styles such as ambient, industrial, noise, improvisational, experimental, doom drone, and dark drone, using bass and guitar as the creative core to explore the infinite possibilities of sound.
At this year's festival, Mamer will perform both solo and in combination with Li Daiguo & Lao Dan.
