The pentatonic megastructure XCOUNTRY BUNGALOW (which has been stitched together cybernetically since last we saw them) has the formidable power of being able to protect the present community from prejudice and trigotry for up to 47.411 minutes. Joe Hertenstein, Eliad Wagner, Kellen Mills, Dafna Naphtali and Liz Allbee discovered this incredible power after falling into a snake pit while on a hiking expedition during a rehearsal break. The venom of the obsidian- black chronoserpens bestowed this impressive gift upon them, though it can only be put into practice with the help of virtuosic, dynamic intoxication. Joe races across the skins, Kellen bleeds all over his strings, Eliad patches his synths with his right hand while soloing with the left, Liz fires columns of air through copper and fiberglass and Dafna whirls sounds through four dimensions these days. Well, at least four anyways. NOTHING EARTH-SHATTERING basically – but since their fateful transformation, as XCountry Bungalow, this fivesided (all-encompassing) megastructure, the 15th of its kind discovered to date, has been spreading sense-ification and togetherness everywhere it goes. In so doing, the five components never forget the wise words of their mysterious saviour, a trickster and storyteller from the Lower Rhine who introduced himself to them but briefly as HDH: „Music has the power to transcend borders and open hearts.“
