In their project bBb bBb, Lao Dan and Li Daiguo present their unique interpretation of traditional Chinese music using extended playing techniques on classical Chinese instruments such as duduk, pipa and guzheng combined with saxophone, prepared piano and tabla, among others. Since their formation in 2018, they have rarely performed; their performances at the Oct-Loft Jazz Festival and other festivals in China have been received with enthusiasm.
