soft rotation is a monthly performance and concert series collaboratively organized by students from the Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln (KHM). The group consists of Chaya Shen, Christopher Theophanous, Jannika Loesche, Chanmin Kim, Dennis Aycicek, Ting-Chun Liu, and Pedro A. Ramírez. As part of a collaboration between KHM and the Moers Festival, the student initiative will curate a diverse program of sound interventions, performances, electronics, and computer music. The project is supported by the faculty of the sound department (exMedia sound) at KHM, including Prof. Tina Tonagel, Prof. Hans W. Koch, and Dr. Tobias Hartmann.
