Kerstin Eckstein is an ethnologist and art historian. She received her PhD with a dissertation entitled “Cultural Identity and Art”, lectured at the University of Trier, conducted research in Africa and worked as an exhibition curator. Over the past years, she brought abandoned kiosks in Bulgaria back to life as cultural spaces and engaged in the intensive investigation of diverse lines of inquiry on the effects of art and cultural work in the scope of various project formats. She has worked within the mœrs team since 2018 in the think tank for “artistic conception”, managing the “discussions” series and developing special formats for 2021.
